Welcome

I'm very glad you found your way here. Hopefully your journey will be worth it. On this site you will find my original acoustic music and links to various musical projects I'm involved in and support. Growing up on Long Island, N.Y., I have had great experiences and fond memories, and many of these manifest themselves in my songs. Still a Long Islander, I have spent decades in The Jim Small Band, performing over 5,000 shows and gathering many friends who feel our music is an integral part of their chemistry.  I am humbled, as we continue to rock out on Long Island.

This site is dedicated to those who prefer their music on the softer side, and I am happy to oblige. Being a dad, singer/songwriter music is dearer to me than ever before, and I've been fortunate enough to have teenage sons who are very musical, and appreciate the songs I write. Both boys are performers on my latest release "This Is where We Lived", and I'm proud I can continue to influence and encourage them in this way. So I thank you for visiting the site, now relax and enjoy the ride, and thank you for supporting original music. Jim
